How do we become more patient with the world — and with ourselves?

I’ve been working on a major project since I came back from my #yolopilgrimmage and I’ve been finding myself incredibly impatient with myself in terms of the progress.
Yes, there has been a huge outpouring of support and collaboration, which I’m so grateful and humbled by but it’s amazing that I still have this itch that I’m not doing enough.
It’s not only with work either.
I’ve been learning the harmonium, and it’s been a wonderful experience. I’ve always wanted to learn how to play an instrument and this is definitely fulfilling my teenage dreams of being a rockstar, particularly because the melodies that I’m learning are not that challenging. You play the notes at the rhythm you want to sing the mantra — which is truly dictated by you. What I find to be so fascinating is that through this process, I still find myself rushing, hitting the keys even before I’m singing…
